As a valued member of the Johns Hopkins University community, you are eligible for several privileges after you retire. They include:
Email: maintain a JHU address
Tuition: receive tuition remission on credit, non-credit, and enrichment courses for you, your spouse/domestic partner, and dependents.
Memberships: join the Johns Hopkins Club and use the libraries and recreation center
Discounts: receive discounts on amusement parks, local attractions, travel destinations, and others
Community Engagement and Volunteering: contribute to holiday programs that assist local families and seniors in need and consider volunteering opportunities.
Within one month of your retirement date from the university, we will issue a wallet-size, laminated ID card for use when accessing certain privileges. If you have not received your card, or need a replacement card, please email or call 410-516-2000.
Please note: the privileges extended to retirees are at the discretion of the university.
You may review or print the JHU Retiree Handbook.
