General Aging

  • American Association of Retired Persons (AARP): a non-profit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to helping older Americans achieve lives of independence, dignity, and purpose.
  • Aging with Dignity: this advance directive is valid in many states and lets family members and doctors know who you want to make health care decisions for you when you can't make them.
  • Maryland Advance Directive: Maryland offers a free advance directive form that allows you to convey your health care wishes in the event that you cannot make these decisions yourself.
