We support the faculty and staff of Johns Hopkins University and the employees of Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System achieve a healthy mix between work, personal life, and academic pursuits. Sometimes our pace of life challenges our quality of life. Work comes home and conversely, home impacts work.
These intersections of work and life can divert our time and attention in ways that make us feel out of balance. That’s why we offer a wide range of programs and services aimed at bolstering each person’s work-life effectiveness. Whether it’s locating child care, finding housing, preparing for retirement, or searching for resources to help take care of an aging adult, WorkLife programs can help.
And because we know that unchecked work-life issues can impact our well-being, we offer the professional support and referral services of the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP) to help you manage challenges of daily living in healthy ways.
We also believe that everyone has something to offer and hope you’ll get involved in our Community Engagement programs - whether giving blood, resources, or your time – community engagement is an important part of Johns Hopkins.
